Cut Shapes 01 poster

50x50 cm

Cut Shapes 01 poster from Paper Collective is made from FSC-certified, acid-free paper and was created by Mentsen, a London studio run by Japanese designers Yasuyuki Sakurai and Risa Sano. The design is based on Japanese woodblock prints of the grain in leftover pieces of wood, cut into balanced shapes – a nod to the studio’s mobiles made from wood offcuts. The square format and calm shapes give the wall a quiet, harmonious feel. The poster is printed in Denmark using a twelve-colour giclée technique.
